Leah has been involved with Backstage since 1994, first as a student and now as a teacher.  She graduated from Curry College with a BA in Education.  While at Curry, she continued to take dance classes in and around Boston.  After receiving her Masters in Education, Leah collaborated with Lisa to incorporate her two loves; dancing and teaching special education.  Together, they have created a special education dance class, Perpetual Motions, for students with cognitive disabilities.  During the structured class, students learn to engage all their senses while creating bodily awareness in a fun, age appropriate learning environment.  Leah currently teaches for the Woburn public school system and is certified to teach disabled students through the state of Massachusetts.
